Donald V Barber

Born a long time ago in Yorkshire, I moved south to Swindon in 1952; then to Wantage in 1959, and to Faringdon in 1963.

I have spent most of my working life in local government, and my wife, Dorothy, worked at AERE Harwell for twenty six years.

I was first elected a town councillor in 1976, and have served in that capacity - on and off - for twenty two years.

My hobbies include travelling abroad, photography, computing, and being a nuisance around the house.
