Dave and Megan Brown

We have lived in Faringdon for twenty years, leaving behind the hurly burly of west London to bring up our children in a rural environment. We have found Faringdon to be a friendly town with a real sense of community, and over the years we have both been involved with various aspects of the town activities; the current ones being the 41 club (previously the Round Table), the Twinning Association and of course fotoFARINGDON2000!

Meg's photographic skills are of the happy snappy variety so this has been Dave's job and Meg has been the go-fer and door knocker! We soon added 'bagging, labelling and spotting' to our skills - i.e. preparing the photos for the exhibition.

We both feel that the project is an excellent way of marking the Millennium and is of lasting value.

On a personal level it has enabled us to rekindle old friendships and make new ones.
