Geoffrey Williams

I live in Southampton Street, and with my wife, have been in Faringdon since 1985.

A retired schoolteacher of English and History, I am particularly pleased to have been part of a project which could be invaluable to the local historians of the future.

I find Faringdon a friendly town in which to live, especially as our house is right in the centre, and I keep in touch by being a member of Probus, All Saints' Church and the Twinning Association with Le Mele.

The dual nationality of my family is often highlighted on twinning occasions by the display of the Tricolore over the front door!
