Olly Bickley

I moved to Faringdon in 1993 . I am particularly interested in the local history and archaeology of the Faringdon area, and now teach classes exploring these subjects. Upon hearing of the fotoFARINGDON2000 project, I thought that it was an excellent way to celebrate the Millennium. As a community venture it has a great deal of relevance to the population of this town, and will be a very valuable resource for the future.

Despite the weather of last summer, I have greatly enjoyed photographing the houses of Bromsgrove, Walnut Court, Stanford Road, Kiln Terrace, Coxwell Street and Nichol Court, and I am grateful for the assistance and encouragement afforded by the residents of these streets.
