This is a project set up by the U3A Photography Group in Faringdon. Faringdon has grown so much since the fotoFaringdon2000 project, so the aim here is to do a small follow up 25 years later, firstly by focusing on businesses in and around the town centre.
This is a temporary display until the project has been completed.

The Sadlers |
A quirky, family-run coffee shop nestled in the heart of Faringdon, The Sadlers is a place where good food, great coffee and a dash of history all come together. Set in a Jacobean building dating back to 1645, The Sadlers opened its doors in 2002 as a humble delicatessen. Since then, we’ve evolved into a much-loved local spot, offering locally sourced treats and home-made artisan goodies. We also specialise in bespoke event catering, with the coffeeshop available for exclusive hire when you want something a little more personal. At The Sadlers, quality, character and genuine hospitality are always on the menu. Paul Johnson & Sietske Johnson |

@Keelys |
@Keelys was founded by Keely in 2018. Initially located on London Street before moving to 10a Marlborough Street in 2022. Keely has 15 years experience in the nail and beauty industry and had a little dream of a friendly space for people to come and feel comfortable and leave feeling good. The idea behind @Keelys is to create a space for other self-employed people to collaborate and to build their own little dreams. Keely Ives |

The Photographers
“I am a hobby photographer and have been conducting a little photography project in the centre of Faringdon. I recently came across the Foto 2000 project which involved 20 photographers taking photos of pretty much every building in the town: https://www.fdahs.org.uk/fotofaringdon2000/ for the millennium. I thought it would be interesting to do a follow up 25 years later and arranged with as many businesses as I could to take shots during November & December 2025 but, concentrating on the centre of Faringdon because a) there’s only me! and b) Faringdon is twice the size it was in 2000. Hopefully you’ll enjoy comparing the 2 different timelines to see what’s changed, and what’s stayed the same.”
