Faringdon Tennis Club is a friendly local club with approximately 350+ members, catering for all ages and abilities. On its new site there are four all-weather courts (two floodlit) and a dedicated red zone. The club welcomes all levels of players and offers a great range of opportunities, from club sessions, coached beginner programs through to high performance tuition for adults and juniors alike.

In 1915, land at the end of Southampton Street was donated to the club by George Earnest Liddiard. During the early 1990s, renovations were done by Mr Ron Liddiard to resurface and extend the tennis courts. Houses were later built on the site and the club moved to its current location at the Folly Sports Park, Stanford Road, which opened in 2012.
